All but our ‘Moor Intro’ hearing aid packages offer five years’ premium aftercare, meaning we will offer regular aftercare appointments (every 6 months) to service your hearing aids and make sure you are getting the maximum benefit from them.
To ensure that your hearing aids are programmed according to your current hearing situation, we will re-test your hearing at regular intervals, including In-situ testing to make sure the programming levels and your hearing prescription is just right.
As part of every aftercare appointment, we will fully clean and service your hearing aids, including replacing filters where required, changing domes if needed, and cleaning the microphones. We will also be able to advise you on the regular hearing aid maintenance and upkeep that you can do yourself at home.
Should your hearing aids need attention then we will see you for a service call as soon as we can. Often we can do this ourselves but occasionally we may need to send your hearing aid away to the manufacturer to be repaired. If the work required is out of the scope of the manufacturer warranty, we will always quote for the work required and obtain your agreement before proceeding.
If you are part of our ‘Moor Select’ package or above, then we will always provide a replacement solution to keep you hearing whilst it is away.
We are proud to be one of the only local Independent Hearing Care companies that can provide a full hearing and aftercare service within your home. Many of our patients have expressed their delight that we can provide a hearing test, hearing aids and the aftercare in the comfort of their own home. Whilst this is an important part of what we do, we would please ask you to bear in mind that it may take a bit longer for an appointment and to see you for a home visit then it would for a clinic visit. We aim to see all of our local patients within a week, but usually this is a lot quicker.

We are delighted to be working with ACS to provide our custom Hearing Protection and In-Ear Monitors.
Their extensive range allows us to offer protection for noise (ie shooting), swimming and sleeping. The PRO series of noise protection can be supplied with or without filters. The colours can be customised and custom laser etching is also available.
ACS provide professional In-Ear Monitors, which have been widely acclaimed by the music industry. We can provide a full range of their Ambient and Classic series. If the model isn’t listed below, please contact us.
